Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt partner has acquired land in Omaha, Neb., for the construction of the Hyatts Place Hotel, which will be owned and managed by ahyatt partners. Designed by the DLR Group's Chicago office, the hotel will be located in the heart of Omaha's art and entertainment center, which has over 100,000 square feet of retail space, restaurants, entertainment and retail, as well as a 1,500-seat hall and 2,800 square feet of rooftop bar. Place Omaha in Old Town Omaha will have 159 rooms, with enclosed ground floor parking and a 1,000 square foot parking garage. Designed by the Chicago offices of DLR Group's Chicago office, the hotel will be located in the center of an Omaha art and entertainment center that will include 1.5 million square feet of commercial and residential space and an outdoor amphitheater with a 3,200-foot outdoor terrace. It will be located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska's arts and entertainment center, which will have a more than 100,000 square foot retail space, restaurants, entertainment and retail, as well as a 2,500-seat hall and 2,800-seat rooftop bar. Designed by DL R Group's Chicago office, the hotel will be the first of its kind in North America and one of only two in Nebraska.
